TIBS Delivers Prize to Lucky Boater
The sky may have been grey but the smiles were big for Ian Watson, grand prize winner of a ballot contest at the Toronto International Boat Show.
Thousands of aspiring, novice and seasoned boaters attend the show every year. This year, Watson’s attendance led to him being selected as the lucky winner of an awesome multi-purpose boat, the Princecraft Sport 164, powered by a Mercury 75 ELPT EFT four-stroke outboard engine and packaged with a custom-painted, bunk-style trailer. Also included was a MotorGuide W55 Wireless 54” 12 V trolling motor, two fold-down jump seats in the stern (which converts to a casting deck) and a removable deck insert at the bow (which easily converts from a casting deck into a V-berth seating area).
The prize package, worth over $26,000, was recently presented to Watson at Buckeye Marine in Bobcaygeon. On hand to congratulate the winner was Toronto show manager Cynthia Hare, Annabel Magennis of AM Promotions and Jay Poole of Buckeye Marine.
Be sure to visit the 2011 Toronto International Boat Show for a chance to take home a sweet boating package of your own.
