The Great Lakes Cruising Club (GLCC) celebrated its 75th Anniversary in 2009 with dinners, rallies, wilderness events and Annual Rendezvous. JE Fordyce was elected Commodore of the Great Lakes Cruising Club at their annual meeting in Windsor. In addition to being a racing sailor and power cruiser, JE is also a Canadian. Its 2,800 members have web access to the club's unique library of over 2,000 detailed harbour, anchorage and gunkhole reports from across the Great Lakes.
